This lineup transformation marked a turning point, closing the chapter on Benson Manor and giving new life to the heartfelt stories of brotherhood, resilience, and passion with a country-rock sound uniquely their own. After spending years fronting Australian country rock band Benson Manor, singer-songwriter Chris Knight is stepping into a new chapter with music that's more personal, more honest, and more reflective of the road that brought him here. Raised in regional Queensland and inspired by the storytelling traditions of country music, Chris has always written songs grounded in real life—small towns, dirt roads, hard work, family, heartbreak, and the moments that shape who we become. His sound blends modern country with heartland rock, drawing influence from artists like Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church and Keith Urban, while keeping one boot firmly planted in Australian soil. As the lead vocalist and principal songwriter of Benson Manor, Chris helped build a reputation for authentic, guitar-driven country rock and songs that connected with everyday Australians. Now, he's taking everything he's learned into this next phase of his music career and offers a fresh perspective without losing the authenticity that listeners have come to expect. His new music explores growth, resilience, second chances, and the pursuit of purpose. John has been involved and around the Australian music scene for the past 30 years. Having shared the stage with such acts as the Screaming Jets, Jimmy Barnes and Icehouse. After releasing his debut dual EP in 2024, John has found his place, plucking the strings for the Station Hands. He is right at home playing the melodic lines that coexist with the Station Hands' heartfelt and honest music.

Mick has been honing and refining his Bass guitar and vocal skills over 40 years, performing with multiple acts across various genres. Appearing at venues across northern New South Wales and southeastern Queensland, from Rock awards in Brisbane to B & S Balls at Cunnamulla, Mick has never failed to find a groove. Now permanently back home in Queensland, Mick has his feet firmly planted in the rhythm section of the Station Hands, and he stands ready to bring you songs about life and love with heartfelt emotion and honesty. Mick has joined with Kenny in the engine room to bring these songs to life. With Chris and John at the wheel, this is one road train you’re gonna want to hitch a ride on.

After decades of laying down rock-solid grooves everywhere from smoky pubs to packed stages, he's finally landed behind the kit for The Station Hands, proving that great rhythm never goes out of style. Sporting a beard that deserves its own postcode and a stare hidden behind shades that says, "I counted you in three songs ago," Kenny keeps the band on track one snare crack at a time. He's a veteran of more musical genres than most people have playlists, but these days he's happily driving the country-rock train with enough backbeat to rattle fence posts. When he's not making drums behave, he's passionately campaigning to have coffee officially recognized as a food group—because, in his world, breakfast without coffee is just a rehearsal. Whether it's keeping perfect time, collecting stories from decades on stage, or reminding everyone that life is better with a fresh brew, Kenny proves that some legends only need one name.
